In order to promote good relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Kingdom of Tonga and get a better understanding between the two peoples with their culture and life, the Chinese Folk Music and Acrobatic Troupe paid a five-day visit to the Kingdom from June 7 to 11, 2007, and staged three performances in Nuku’alofa, the capital of the Kingdom. The troupe was consisted of three musicians, one magician and five acrobat performers. Their visit to the Kingdom is a great success with impressive performances attracting crowds of cheering and screaming local audience. |
